Blackjack
is one of the oldest and most played cards game in the
casinos all over the world. One of the main reasons of
popularity of the blackjack game is its simple rules. In
order to increase one’s chances to win the game he
needs to learn some basic skills and effective
strategies that include: counting of cards, timing of
placing bets, number of bets, and much more.
Blackjack
is played with one, two, four or six decks of cards. The
dealer deals the cards as the player chooses the number
of decks. There are also machines known as shoe, used in
different casinos that deal out the cards other then the
dealer. If the dealer deals out the cards then the cards
dealt face down, whereas if it’s being done by the
machine then it is faced up, but the player is not
allowed to touch the cards.
As per
the name of the game, blackjack the card called jack has
to make the call to start the game. The total value of
cards with the player shouldn’t exceed the value of
twenty one in order to remain in the game. If the total
value of cards crosses the limit of twenty one then the
player is bust. Whether the game is played by a single
person or a group of people with multiple decks of
cards, the rules of the blackjack game remains almost
the same.
In
casinos there is a special semicircular shaped table
reserved for the blackjack players. As per the seating
design every player has to make their bets to start with
the game. The chips within the table circle are only
allowed to bet and one’s not within the circle are not
acceptable as the bet for the blackjack game. Therefore,
players needed to be careful while placing their chips
as if they are winning and even by mistake two of their
chips are outside the circle, they can loose the game.
Hence, blackjack is a game of chances.
